O Baama O Bummer!

Okay, I know I spelled it wrong. I don't want someone to google his name and get my blog. I have officially decided not to be afraid of the future. I am tired of getting e-mails that are sent to scare people. I am not going to read or watch them anymore. I just need to do, what I know I need to do, and have faith that whatever happens is what is meant to be.
I remember when I was little my Mom told us that if Jimmy Carter was elected he would be the one to bring on World War Three. The next morning when I woke up and saw the front page of the paper, I was so scared. I waited each day to hear that the end of the world was here. Things changed but we all survived.
I don't want to be afraid, I know that Satan loves to instill fear. Our church leaders are not talking fear, they are talking about the exciting things that are coming! They are talking hope. They are telling us to hold on and be strong and trust that we will be taken care of.
We need to stop being afraid and not scare our children. I want to send each other good news, good deals for year supply, good ideas on how to store things, happy thoughts, hope of a bright future full of love and laughter. I am not saying that we should put our heads in the sand, just know that "men are that they might have joy", even in the worst of situations there has always been joy to be found. The church marches on and so must we. Life is good!

So true! I remember hearing adults say the same thing when Clinton was elected. Sometimes we don't even realize that our kids are listening.

You may already know this - but you can make it so people can't search for your blog. Go to customize, then settings and you will see it there.
