Finally!

It's coming.....Can you feel it?.... IT'S AUTUMN!!!!! Okay, its not cool yet, but I feel it. I know it is coming. The one time of the year that I can't wait for. Time to decorate my porch with scarecrows, pumpkins, and bails of hay. Not Halloween, not Thanksgiving, just AUTUMN! I love it. I always tell myself it won't be cold until Halloween night, that way I am never disappointed when it takes forever before I can wear a sweater. I have no problem waiting for cool weather, I spend my time in the stores that are full of fall decorations.... I can't help myself. I went to Joanns the other day to buy flannel for my shop and ended up spending my money on fabric to make a fall quilt for my bed. Babies could go cold from my selfishness! But, I can't help it. Brown, Orange, Red....Acorns, pumpkins, leaves....crows, scarecrows, apples of every color...WHAT IS NOT TO LOVE! Then as if that isn't enough, the fair comes to town. I don't have enough time to even start to list all I love about the fair. Russ and I tried to eat our way through it last year. I didn't make it near as far as he did. He even bought a texas size donut as we were leaving. I kid you naught, as I was laying in bed that night moaning from the sheer glutany of my day, I heard a paper rattle..... He was eating that donut! I couldn't believe it.
So bring on the FALL. I'm ready. Come sit on my porch with me and watch my girls ride there scooters. Life is good!
